I love Barn. I love rustic. When I see this store in San Francisco, we definitely want to go to have a try. We did and We loved it so much! Actually, they have two store in downtown, the one we went is at Russian Hill. They have another store at Marina.
We went there for a early dinner. Not many people in the store when we were there. But it got crowded around 6pm. The gourmet is on the Polk street which is a popular street in Russian Hill. You can find a lot of good restaurant around here. Beautiful store front with lots of woods, very barn style. It’s a blue barn sign on a blue wood. It is such a unique place.
They have salad, sandwiches, grilled cheese dish. It’s not very complicated but you do have a lot of choices. You can even customized your salad for you own. From meet, greens, cheese, you can pick your choice by your own. Of course, you can select from their seasonal menu. I believe it’s good to have a try since it’s the best ingredient at the time.
Very barn style decoration all around the store. It is just so attracted that people keep coming in. They have free water which you can take by yourself.
See lots of people are eating but there are still long line to wait. I see a lot of people just order to go. It’s a local friendly place, people come and go fast. Some people like us like to stay inside or outside tables to enjoy the cozy atmosphere.
The cute adorable blue barn logo! I love all the decoration in the store.
Even the restaurant is where I want to stay longer! haha
We ordered the beef skirt and grilled chicken sandwich. Both are very good! The beef is very juicy. Grilled chicken with avocado are perfect match. We found the food is a little different than other sandwich shop. In their menu, they emphasized they used local farm ingredient and pick the seasonal food. They want to support the small farms and have the best for the customers. It makes them very special and the barn style just I can’t say no 😀
