As we know, there are seven popular islands in Hawaii states. We have been to Maui and Oahu. It’s our first time coming to Hawaii Island, also known as Big Island. Interestingly, it has 10 out of 13 climate zones in the world. It’s extraordinary that you can so many different different climates in one day. https://www.lovebigisland.com/hawaii-blog/climate-zones-big-island/
It’s a beautiful island, not busy as Oahu and more interesting than Maui. The islands in Pacific Ocean just all very pretty like this. We are already excited even we haven’t landed yet.
It’ sunny, tropical, you can see the coconut trees everywhere. When you leave the airport, there are a line of beautiful trees welcoming you. The special for big island are those lava everywhere, too!
You can’t miss “Plumeria” on the island, too! Funny thing is they just look exactly like the take one, very thick and creamy! HAHA
We were luckily to be offered stay at this vacation house. It’s part of the Hilton so we can also use all Hilton facility. The vacation house has pools, restaurants, golf club right next to it.
It’s nice, clean, and high end amenities.
Waikoloa Village does have their great brunch place to eat. However, we are still willing to try this fancy Brown’s Beach House at Fairmont Orchid, which is right next to the beach. It’s only 10 minutes away from where we live.
It has beautiful outside seating, very Hawaii! Look at these cute couples, seems like they are from Japan and coming for Honeymoon vacation and dinner!
The restaurant is right next to the hotel pool and beach, how enjoyable it is!
We chose to come at the sunset time so we can also enjoy the Golden beautiful sunset with our nice meal!
We ordered not too much but not too less. We could try some different dishes. It’s a fancy restaurant, the price could be expected. However, kids could eat free here.
The mac and cheese, noodle soup are free. We also got the ice cream cookie desert with no charge! How sweet it is!
We took our time, enjoyed dinner and sunset, until the late night came. The beautiful reflection at night is incredible, too! Super highly recommend to stay a whole night here!
