Coqueta, Pier 7, Embarcadero, San Francisco

The best place to hang out with friends on Friday Happy Hours is Coqueta in San Francisco downtown! It has Spanish tapa and best Sangria ever! It’s in Embarcadero, right on Pacifica Ocean, beautiful view, nice atmosphere, great service, definitely must try place! https://www.yelp.com/biz/coqueta-san-francisco

On the way to there, we accidentally spot this beautiful view. When you driving on Harrison Street, you can see Bay Bridge in front of you. With people, buses, cars, it’s a interesting intersection!

Coquets is in building of Pier 5, right next to the Pier 7, where we came to take pictures a lot, no matter, engagement photos or family portraits. Sorry it’s super sunny day for the happy hours, the light is super bright but I still love it! It’s so relaxing walking along the Embarcadero and taking some photos.

Also I want to mention the outfit I have today, it’s the most comfortable and my favorite. As a photographer, I won’t be able to wear flattery dress everyday. White T-shirt and Black jeans are what I wear if I don’t know what to wear on that day. As you tuck in your white T-shirt, it looks very nice and chic. Sometimes, it’s a little too casual, I will just wear a blazer to make it more styled. This knitted blazer is from J-crew, still shown on the website. I also found some similar style with affordable price.

It’s so sunny at city today so I can’t go without a sun glasses. This is my favorite sunglasses, too! It’s from Tom Ford, very big and round, never go wrong!

Nice setting for the menu to start! It was funny that we asked for the recommendation dished, basically, he read the whole menu!

Famous Spinach tapa, Manchego, sliced ham, cheese, with apricot jam. Remember don’t have the whole thing in once. It’s super cheesy so you better take it slow. It’s very good!

Special Sandwich of the day, which has steak, cheese, and spinach. I would say this is a more common dish. If you sometimes don’t want to try something too special, this is the best one!

We ordered this “Sunny side-up” Huevo because he mentioned it more than twice when we asked for the recommendation. It’s very very good and I would say it’s my favorite of the day. Huevo means egg, fo course, the sunny side-up 😛 With crunchy potato, shrimp, it has many different texture, I like it a lot. Interestingly, it comes with sunny side up and they mixed and prepared it in front of you.

After mixing, they even rearrange it to put the shrimps back on the top to make it very pretty!

Paella is must have for Spinach food. Look at how many seafood and meat in this paella. And we ordered this once we sit down since we know it need 30-40 minutes to prepare. It’s worthy of the wait.

In spanish dining, don’t forget the Sangria. Spuriously, we love their Sangria super much. It’s very fruity and you can see grapes inside. They are so nice to make it for us in front of us.

It’s a nice place to hangout. Definitely come back again and again! I just found they have sea urchin sandwich, I would definitely come back for that!
