The way we experience the world is different. We love to see the new thing, new place, and new people. That’s why we always pack light and ready to go anywhere.
Our different philosophy always lead us to meet intelligent people. Early this year, we worked with Minika Ko for a campaign. 9/18/2017, we were at her fashion show to take photos and video for her. The whole thing brought us to a very different world. We always used Director “Ang Lee” as an example. He started his movie career when he was 25 studying at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. No one noticed him until at his age 45, he directed “Crouching Tiger” which won the Academy Award of Best Foreign films and three technical awards. It is not just winning the award but also a highest grossing selling foreign movie in several counties.
Minika Ko gave us a same feeling of her hard working. It is challenging just to live at New York, especially you don’t have consistent income. You are trying to build a brand and business. There are a lot of sacrifice and settling. The most important is her energy. She loves New York so much even her apartment/studio is super tiny. She loves her work even she needs to work in different time zone to make her production happen. There are hundreds of obstacles ahead, she has a clear goal and tries the best the overcome all the difficulties. She is super woman doing everything but at the same time giving this energy to all the people around her.
We were lucky and so proud to be there capturing the show for her in the New York Fashion week. “The Kavasky” is her main collection in this show, black, white, and grey. It’s clean cut, wrinkle resistant, water repellent, and machine washable.

Minika comes out to say hi to everyone, we just know the dancer is also her friend, she is super famous dancer at Taiwan and US. Here name is PeiJu Chien-Pott.
